Arc flash labels are intended to warn workers of the potential certain equipment have for arc flash, as well as any personal protective equipment (PPE) that may be required for prevention of injury from arc flash.
These arc flash die-cuts are 6.8" by 10.5" and 8.8” x 12.8”, made big to demand attention and be seen from longer distances and out of the range of required PPE. Headers come imprinted with bright background colors, with headers reading either "DANGER" or "WARNING".
The “DANGER” header is printed in white letters on a red background along with the safety alert symbol. The sign message must be printed in black or red letters on a white background, or white letters on a black background. The “WARNING” header is written in black on an orange background and is accompanied by the safety alert symbol.
