Large Health & Safety Labels

Die-Cut Labels for DuraLabel Printers

Compliance with OSHA safety standards, as defined in Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1972, is critical in all industrial workplaces because it not only increases safety for workers, but may also improve morale by demonstrating concern for their well being. Signs indicating dangers and warnings are strictly regulated by OSHA to accord to uniform design and color schemes and denote specific levels of hazard.

Substantially increase the visibility of your workplace's health and safety signs with the Super-Size labels available for the DuraLabel 7000 and 9000. These labels are 6.8" by 10.5" and 8.8” x 12.8”, made big to demand attention and be seen from longer distances. Headers come imprinted with bright background colors, with either a red "DANGER," "WARNING" or blue "NOTICE" signal words. Once these new large format signs are printed, you just peel-and-apply.

The “DANGER” header is printed in white letters on a red background along with the safety alert symbol. The sign message must be printed in black or red letters on a white background, or white letters on a black background.

The "WARNING" header is printed in white letters on an orange background along with the safety alert symbol. The "NOTICE" header is printed in white letters with a blue background to denote that the sign does not indicate any level of immediate hazard.

Large-format NFPA Diamond and Color Bar Labels also increase visibility from greater distances to efficiently relay safety information to employees for handling hazardous chemicals in the workplace.

Large die-cut NFPA Diamond Labels and Color Bar labels come in sizes up to 6.8" x 10.5", almost twice the size of standard 4" x 6" Right-To-Know (RTK) Labels. They are printed on the wide format DuraLabel 7000 Large Label Printer or the DuraLabel 9000 Sign Printer and are used to clearly mark large material containers such as drums, tanks, vessels and pipes. The larger size label makes the label information readable from a greater distance.

Large RTK color bar labels are formatted with broad bars in bold colors to improve visibility from distances. They feature a standardized RTK design for a labeling consistency that can inform workers of hazardous materials prior to entering a proximity that requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

A durable built-in overlaminate protects the label to provide a long life in the tough environments of an industrial workplace. Rounded corners give these RTK labels a professional appearance, make them easier to peel and increase their durability.
