Lockout / Tagout -
- Master Lock Padlocks-
Master Lock has four types of padlocks available in their Safety Series. Each type of padlock is available in a variety of colors, allowing them to be color coded by department or work team. To prevent duplication of keys--hundreds of thousands of key codes are available. Master Lock will also track which key codes have been issued to your facility, so they do not ship locks duplicate a key code that is already in use.
Lightweight Safety Lockout Padlocks
Designed exclusively for Lockout/Tagout
In many cases LOTO padlocks do not need to provide a high degree of security. On the other hand, padlocks that are lightweight make it easier for maintenance and service staff to carry the locks they need. The Master Lock Lightweight Safety Padlocks are made from a tough lightweight GE Plastic called Xenoy®. This composite material produces a durable, light padlock that is easy to carry and stands up to drops, corrosive environments, moisture and UV.
Master Lock Xenoy® locks have been tested at temperatures from -70 up to +350 degrees Fahrenheit. The Xenoy® material has high tensile strength. It does not absorb moisture, and it is chemical resistant.
Steel Body Padlocks
Traditional, Durable Lockout Padlocks
When security is important use Master Lock laminated strong padlocks. These tough locks stand up to abusive handling. A cadmium coating provides corrosion resistance so they can be used in harsh environments. Color coding is provided by colored plastic bumpers on the bottom of each lock (six colors are available).
The size and solid body of this padlock limits the number of key changes that are possible. It is recommended that these locks not be used where more than 1,400 key codes are needed.
Lightweight Aluminum Padlocks

Color Recognition Plus Security
Aluminum padlocks provide a high resistance to environmental corrosion, lightweight locks and resistance to corrosion. Color coding, available in six colors, is provided by a powder coat finish that gives a durable bright color to each safety padlock.
"Danger - Lockout" labels may be purchased separately and applied to these locks. In addition, aluminum padlocks can be laser engraved with custom text and graphics.
Aluminum padlocks have temperature operating range of -70 degrees F to +350 degrees F.
Anodized Solid Aluminum Padlocks
Safety, Color Coded and Corrosive Resistant
These Solid Aluminum Padlocks combine strength, durability and lightweight construction. They have an anodized aluminum body with a 1/4" chrome plated, boron alloy shackle with a one inch clearance. The baked on powder-coated finish stays bright and provides a corrosive resistant finish for tough environments.
Anodized Solid Aluminum Safety Padlocks may be laser engraved or have photo ID labels. They are available as keyed different, keyed alike or master keyed.
