Lockout / Tagout -
- Master Lock Hasps / Tags -

Two key components of a safety lockout/tagout program are hasps and tags. Hasps provide a means for more than one person to apply a lockout padlock. Tag provide information and safety warnings directly at the point where that information is needed. Master Lock offers write on tags in English, Spanish and French to accommodate employee needs.

Secure Lockout for Multiple Workers

Hasps attach to a single lockout point and then allow multiple locks to be attached to the hasp. Each worker applies their own lock to the hasp. The hasp can not be opened and removed from the lockout point until all locks have been removed.

There are several styles of hasps available. Each style addresses a different lockout requirement. For example, Master Lock hasps include spark resistant aluminum, pry proof steel, dielectric plastic and dual jaw aluminum hasps.

Master Locks hasps also include a multiple-person lockout hasp with tagout information. This unique hasp comes with a highly visible, re-usable, write on safety label that be erased and re-used.
